18/1/2023
On January 16, the boss Matteo Messina Denaro, a fugitive for 30 years, was arrested.
As part of the program "Non è l'Arena" - hosted by Massimo Giletti - aired on the Italian TV network La7 on November 5, 2022, Salvatore Baiardo, the frontman who covered up the fugitives of the Graviano bosses in the 1990s, released some shocking declarations on the possible arrest of the last mafia godfather, which proved to be prophetic two months later: “And maybe, who knows, a little gift will arrive for the new government... Maybe, let's assume, that Matteo Messina Denaro is very ill and makes a negotiation himself to surrender himself and make a sensational arrest...". "When would this arrest take place? Giletti, some events speak for themselves, it's not that I'm making it up"
